Pontoon builder Bennington is expanding its operations in north-central Indiana, adding jobs and investing in new facilities, the company announced.

The company’s new property includes a 43,485-square-foot manufacturing facility that will allow Bennington to add manufacturing jobs. The new building is a half-mile east of Bennington headquarters in Elkhart County, Ind.

“Demand for our pontoons continues to be very strong,” Bennington president Jake Vogel said in the statement. “We are … investing in our hometown and its people to increase the availability of our boats for our dealers and customers.”

Bennington said it has openings for more than 75 jobs throughout its workforce.

“With new training programs under development, we can offer even more growth opportunities to both new hires and our current team members to gain leadership and production skills,” COO Andrew Bona said.
