Big Thunder Marine Acquires Lakeport Marina

Another Lake of the Ozarks marine business comes under the umbrella of Big Thunder.

Big Thunder Marine will expand to the new Big Thunder at Grand Glaize, located at 19MM at Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; the business was formerly known as Lakeport Marina.

Slip rentals will begin immediately and in early summer, Big Thunder will host a Summer Surf Experience with MasterCraft tow boats, during which participants can book a day with a professional trainer to learn how to wakeboard or surf.

According to a statement from the company, future plans include a gas dock and fully stocked store; service and parts will be available soon and full property development plans are still in the works.
