The online marketplace BoatsandShore.com is marking its first anniversary in business.

The website, based in St. Augustine, Fla., is an online marketplace, geared toward small business owners and the boating community in general.

The site showcases a wide range of categories, including dealers and brokers; fishing and charters; services, events, forums, jobs, personal and real estate; and boats and equipment.

Basic ads on the site are free, and it is strictly for marine advertising. Each ad provides active links directly to the advertiser’s website while also providing contact information, such as phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Boats and Shore encourages the use of YouTube videos as part of ads.
