BoatU.S. seeks award nominees

BoatU.S. is seeking nominees for its Recreational Boating Access Award.

The Recreational Boating Access Award honors an individual, group, government body, business or non-profit organization that has succeeded in preserving or improving waterway access.

Examples of solutions include public/private partnerships, changes in land use planning or permitting processes, tax incentives, legislation or public ballots, publicity or public education.

Eligible activities include those undertaken in the last three years. The deadline for nominations is Oct. 1. Winners will be announced by Oct. 31.
