BoatUS sponsors Great Lakes regatta

BoatUS signed on as a sponsor of the Inter-Lake Yachting Association's annual regattas.

The regattas include the upcoming Sail Regatta, which runs Aug. 3-5, as well as Junior Bay Week, which sailed July 15-19, and the Power Regatta, which sailed July 20-24, according to BoatUS.

The I-LYA represents U.S. and Canadian sailors on Lake Erie, as well as inland lake sailors from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia. The group's events are held at Put-In-Bay (Ohio) Yacht Club.

"I-LYA has done wonderful things on the Great Lakes so it only makes sense that we work together to support the boating lifestyle," BoatUS membership program manager David Mann said in a statement.
