Full-service design, naval architecture and marine engineering firm Boksa Marine Design Inc. said it will again aim its efforts toward the custom and semicustom yacht industries.

"Due to the slowdown in the yacht industry, for the past several years we have been concentrating on building our presence in the commercial marine market. With that effort well under way and in anticipation of the rebuilding of the yacht industry, we are again directing efforts there," Nicholas Boksa said in a statement.

Boksa has been a part of the custom, semicustom and production yacht industries since 1996 and has been involved in many successful projects with the world's leading builders.

Tampa, Fla.-based Boksa Marine Design was founded in April 2003 as a fully operational design firm working on many luxury yacht design and commercial marine design programs. Today the firm is composed of two divisions: Boksa Marine Design Yachts and Boksa Marine Design Commercial.
