The Bonnier Marine Group formed a strategic alliance with Marinalife.com in which BMG will begin producing a new video series covering destination resorts and marinas for online audiences across its 14 Web sites.
The videos are designed to show cruisers all of the amenities of each marina and resort before they book reservations. The videos will be available on Marinalife.com through existing listings on their site.
The Marinalife Web site includes an online marina reservation service and comprehensive listing of marinas throughout the United States, Canada, Bahamas, Caribbean and Central America.
“When we looked at this market, we were surprised to find that no one is producing high-quality videos covering marinas and resorts for cruising yachtsmen and bluewater fishermen,” said Bonnier Marine Group publisher Glenn Hughes.
“Because of our experience in producing high-quality television shows and Web-based videos, we are uniquely qualified to provide this service to our engaged boating audience. We will distribute the videos through our appropriate magazine sites that appeal to each marina’s primary clientele and through the Marinalife network,” he added.
