Bonnier writers net several awards in Miami

Bonnier Marine Group claimed numerous awards from the annual writing contest held by Boating Writers International.

The magazine group was recognized in 14 of the 16 categories, collecting more than 25 honors, including seven first-place awards. Cruising World received 15 awards, and Yachting took home five. Sailing World, Sport Fishing, Salt Water Sportsman and Boating Life were also among the award winners.

The awards were presented last week during the Miami International Boat Show. The BWI contest attracted 161 participants, with more than 450 entries.
