C.G. Foundation Offers 2022 Scholarships
The Coast Guard Foundation announced in a statement that the application period for its 2022 scholarship program runs Feb. 1 through March 15. Scholarships are available to children of active duty, active-duty reserve and retired Coast Guard personnel.

The foundation has awarded more than $6 million to college-age young adults in the program’s 30 years.
“We are proud of our more than three decades of supporting Coast Guard kids through our scholarship program,” foundation president Susan Ludwig said in a statement. “College is expensive, and we are truly honored to partner with our very generous supporters to help ease that burden for so many deserving Coast Guard families.”

Kianna Fleek-Dixson from Wilton Manors, Fla., daughter of retired Coast Guardsman Michael Dixson, was awarded a 2020 scholarship.
