The STEP Ahead Awards honor women in a variety of industries.

Nominations for the Manufacturing Institute’s 2020 STEP Ahead Awards close on October 4. The program recognizes women who have demonstrated leadership in science, technology, engineering and production careers. The National Marine Manufacturers Association is encouraging its members to nominate a colleague for the awards.

On April 30, 2020, in Washington, D.C., an awards ceremony will honor 100 women and 30 emerging leaders. The emerging leaders focus on women under the age of 30 who have achieved noteworthy accomplishments. The dinner and awards are part of a professional and leadership development program.

Nominations for the STEP Ahead Awards can be made online and include an essay of support.
