Carolina technician receives ABYC certification

John Henderson of Paul Mann Custom Boats in Manns Harbor, N.C., was recently designated a master technician by the American Boat and Yacht Council.

Henderson attended months of training and certification processes involving electrical systems, refrigeration/air conditioning and marine corrosion. He has been working as a systems installation supervisor with Mann for more than three years.

The ABYC Marine Technician Certification program is based on ABYC marine industry safety standards.
