Consolidated Electronic Distributors, also known as CED Marine, said it acquired certain assets of Florida wholesaler Jaytron Marine Electronics.

CED Marine is providing service and distribution to Bradenton-based Jaytron’s customers effective immediately, CED said in a statement yesterday.

“We look forward to providing a continuity of supply to Jaytron’s dealer base,” CED Marine president Gregory Borchardt said.

CED Marine said it is growing rapidly and is in the process of moving its corporate headquarters from Rockledge, Fla., to a larger space in Melbourne, Fla. The company distributes such brands as Garmin, Simrad, Lowrance, FLIR, Raymarine, Furuno and JL Audio.
