Beth Rosenberg was named associate editor of Soundings Trade Only.

Rosenberg, who has been with the publication for more than three years, has more than 15 years of journalism experience at newspapers, magazines, trade associations and other media outlets.

Prior to joining Trade Only, Rosenberg was an assistant editor at the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Prior to working at the NCAA, she was a reporter with The Associated Press in Indianapolis, covering breaking news and features for a state and national Audience.

She has been the recipient of numerous awards from the New England Associated Press News Executives Association and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Rosenberg has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Hartford and a master’s degree in journalism from Northeastern University.

Phil Gaynor was appointed director of sales/applications and marketing at Volvo Penta of the Americas.

Gaynor has more than 25 years of marine industry experience, and in this position he will oversee all aspects of sales, sales applications and marketing, as well as dealer development for marine leisure, marine commercial and industrial.

Prior to joining Volvo Penta, Gaynor served as the marine/RV business manager at MotoTron Corporation (formerly a division of Brunswick Corp.), and previously directed the OEM rigging products group for Mercury Marine.

Earlier in his marine career, Gaynor spent time in product sales and support at Raytheon Marine and gained dealer sales and store management experience at Bassett Boat Company in Connecticut.

Volvo Penta, with more than 5,000 dealers in more than 130 countries, is a leading manufacturer of engines and complete power systems for both marine and industrial applications.

Allied Marine, acquired by Ferretti S.p.A., parent company of the Ferretti group, retained the consulting services of Wes Dickman.

Dickman partnered with Ferretti in the early 1990s when he joined Norberto Ferretti and current Allied Marine CEO George Kyriazakos to bring Ferretti to the U.S. marketplace. When Ferretti S.p.A., acquired Allied Marine, it seemed natural to bring this team back together again, the company announced.

Ferretti S.p.A. is the head company of Ferretti group, a leader in the design, construction and sale of luxury motoryachts.
