SeaWide Distribution appointed Brian Gallagher as Northwest regional site manager for its distribution center in Seattle.

Gallagher has an extensive background in the marine industry, including more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience working with OEM boatbuilders, distributors and technical dealers.

Most recently, he served as Seaview product sales manager for PYI Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of marine equipment and supplies. He also was previously employed at Fisheries Supplies, The Jack Park Company and West Marine.

SeaWide Distribution is a national wholesale distributor of marine and consumer electronics.

Clay Goins was named sales specialist at Charlotte, N.C.-based Tesa Tape. He will cover general manufacturing/distribution industries in California, Nevada and Arizona.

Goins has worked at Tesa Tape for more than six years, previously serving as a sales specialist for appliance markets and as an information technology specialist.

Ocean Alexander of Florida opened a new branch office in Fort Lauderdale with adjacent slips that will house some of the new OA models due in this year.  

Joining OA's sales team at the new office are Roy Sea and Louis Dvorak.

Sea has spent 26 years in the yachting industry, associated with Burger, Palmer Johnson and Merrill Stevens. Dvorak has 20 years of experience in the yachting industry, associated with Oviatt Marine and Northrop and Johnson.

Jim Torinese joined Eastern Yacht Sales in Portsmouth, R.I., selling new Jeanneau, Catalina, Bavaria, and Mainship boats, as well as brokerage boats.

Torinese was previously with Brewer Yacht Sales in Barrington, R.I.
