Island Pilot named Dann Cummings sales director.

Cummings has been boating for more than 20 years. He holds a 50-ton Master’s License, has served as mate on fishing boats in Clearwater, Fla., delivered boats up and down the East Coast and has experience in rigging and commissioning.

He and his wife purchased Hull No. 8 of the Island Pilot 395. In the announcement, the company says it’s this “firsthand experience that allows him to know the boat intimately and to be able to share that knowledge with boaters interested in the Island Pilot models.”

As sales director, Cummings will be the first point of contact for customers and will work closely with them through the purchase process, build of their boat, any change orders necessary and any post-delivery customer needs.
