Marine industry veteran Bruce Livingston Jr. was named production director for Vicem Yachts’ shipyards in Turkey.

“Bruce is one of the most respected professionals in yacht building with a long history of accomplishments in shipyard operations and management worldwide,” said Sebahattin Hafizoglu, founder and president of Vicem Yachts, in a statement. “His leadership skills, production experience, financial savvy and knack for developing innovative systems and policies will help take the company to a new and higher level.”

Livingston’s career spans more than three decades. He served as project manager for Coddington Yachts in Rhode Island and 14 years as general manager and supervisor for Little Harbor Custom Yachts’ Taiwan facility and its sister entities, Little Harbor Marine Enterprises and Ted Hood Yacht Builders.

In 1996, Grand Banks Yachts hired Livingston as director and plant manager for the company’s operations in Malaysia, a position he held for nearly a decade.
