Goetz Custom Technologies hired Steve Barker for international sales.

Formerly the executive vice president of sales for Nautor's Swan USA, Barker will spearhead an effort to grow sales of lightweight, high-performance sail- and powerboats to overseas markets.

Barker brings with him many years of knowledge and selling experience in the global marketplace. He will work with Goetz clients as well as designers and project managers to build distinctive high-performance yachts. Current projects include yachts designed by a variety of renowned naval architects, including German Frers.

Founded in 1975 as Eric Goetz Custom Sailboats, the company is now operating as Goetz Custom Technologies after acquiring the assets of the former company.
