James Floyd joined Bradford Marine in Fort Lauderdale as a sales and marketing professional.

Floyd started his yachting career as dockmaster at Bradford Marine and, since 1981, he has been involved in the yachting industry through Smallwood's, a family business.

"His vast knowledge of the yachting industry will certainly benefit megayacht owners and their captains," Bradford Marine president Paul Engle said in a statement.
