Interphase Technologies of Soquel, Calif., appointed Bob Chew to the new position of sales and marketing manager.

Working from Stuart, Fla., Chew will be responsible for a broad spectrum of sales, marketing and business development activities for the marine electronics manufacturer. He will work to expand the company's presence in domestic and international marine markets, addressing the recreational, commercial and governmental segments of the business.

A 25-year veteran of the marine industry, Chew's background includes the retail and wholesale side of marine sales, distribution and manufacturing. He also has experience in marketing, business development and product development.

"I'm confident his industry knowledge and marketing experience will help us take the Interphase product line to a larger and broader boating audience," said Charles Hicks, president of Interphase Technologies, in a statement.
