Changing Places

New Zealand-based Stabicraft Marine named Marty Smith as its North American sales manager to serve the U.S. and Canadian markets.

Smith is a marine industry veteran with 25 years of experience in purchasing, design, quality control, boat-show management and sales.

In his new position, he will expand Stabicraft Marine's dealer network, foster the company's relationship with existing dealers and manage U.S. and Canadian boat shows and events.

Smith will operate the soon-to-be announced U.S. headquarters.

Stabicraft Marine manufactures center consoles, sportboats, runabouts, cruisers and sportfishing boats. With a strong presence in New Zealand and Australia, Stabicraft Marine is looking to expand in all U.S. rough-water regions, including the West Coast, Great Lakes, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
