Hanse Yachts US announced transition plans for its day-to-day operations from Donald Walsh to Alexander Harrison.

Walsh, who has spent 44 years in the sailing business and nearly 14 years building dealership networks in North America, will remain in a modified and supporting role to handle the financial affairs and some office duties, according to the company.

Harrison has been with Hanse Yachts US for more than a year, the company said.

In addition, a new office opened April 1 at Yacht Haven in Annapolis, Md.
