Brunswick Corp. named Kristin M. Coleman its vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. She will assume her duties May 20, reporting to Dustan E. McCoy, Brunswick's chairman and CEO.

Coleman, 40, who most recently was vice president and associate general counsel for Mead Johnson Nutrition Co., previously had been with Brunswick from 2003-2008. During that time, she served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility, including deputy general counsel for Brunswick Corp., as well as vice president and general counsel for Brunswick Bowling & Billiards.

"We are pleased to welcome Kristin back to Brunswick," McCoy said in a statement. "Her expertise and familiarity with the company, our businesses and our legal team will ensure that the pace and intensity of our efforts will proceed forward unimpeded."

Prior to joining Brunswick, Coleman was an attorney with Sidley Austin Brown & Wood in Chicago. She will replace Lloyd C. Chatfield, who recently resigned to join the law firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP.

Coleman holds a bachelor's degree from Duke University and a juris doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor.

Marina Management Services hired Herk Strumpf as an associate in the Boca Raton, Fla. office. He will help provide consulting and management solutions to clients throughout the U.S. and International markets.

"Herk brings a diverse background to MMS, and his experience in new business development and market & economic feasibility analysis will be a great addition to our growing team," said Dennis Kissman, president of MMS, in a statement.

Prior to joining MMS, Strumpf was senior project manager for Beacon Design International, an engineering firm designing marina facilities and creating geotechnical and structural solutions for waterfront developments. He also served as the senior project manager for five years at Brandy Marine International.

Strumpf has presented at marine industry trade shows and conferences on waterfront design, development and management practices.
