Cummins Power Systems named Larry Hawes director of marine business, a newly created position.

Prior to joining Cummins Power Systems, Hawes helped develop Ransome CAT into a large marine dealer.

"It is my expectation that combining the resources and scale of Cummins Power Systems LLC with Larry's expertise in the marine industry will yield a comprehensive marine business second to none," said R. Scott Patrohay, president of Cummins Power Systems, in a statement.

Bristol, Pa.-based Cummins Power Systems is the authorized distributor for Cummins, Cummins MerCruiser Diesel, and Cummins Onan from Northern Virginia to Connecticut.
