Changing Places

Paul Comyns joined PYI Inc. as sales and marketing director based in Lynnwood, Wash. He will be responsible for leading the company's marketing activities and developing the sales pull across all markets.

Comyns comes to PYI with 25 years of experience in the marine industry.

His years of marketing knowledge and enthusiasm will make a significant difference in the company," PYI vice president Kevin Woody said in a statement. "We are pleased to be able to continue bringing exciting and innovative products to market even in these challenging times. With Paul's help, you will continue to see growth and new and exciting products from PYI."

Comyns' first tasks will be the launch and introduction of the new Seaview Instrument Pods.

PYI manufactures and distributes marine, boat, yacht and ship equipment and supplies.

Darrell Brown joined Morbern Marine as part of the expansion of its engineering and design program.

Brown has 28 years of experience in upholstery design, interior design and space planning.

Morbern Marine's new program provides engineering consultation to a broad range of seating and boat manufacturers and offers a liaison to facilitate new models, design modifications and upholstery changes.

Brown will be based in Myakka, Fla.
