Industry veteran Robert Jarrett will be joining Northrop and Johnson of Newport, R.I., as its newest broker.

Originally from Harbor Springs, Mich., Jarrett started as a ski company sales representative while sailing competitively on the Great Lakes. He has lived in the New England region for 20 years and has worked on behalf of several companies including Hatteras, Grand Banks, Sabre and Hinckley.

Jarrett is skilled in various aspects of the business of brokerage, new construction of sailing and motoryachts, as well as being a member of the Yacht Brokers Association of America and holds Certified Professional Yacht Broker status.

Faith Bosna and Kyle Holloway will be joining the sales team of SeaWide Distribution, the national wholesale distributor of marine and consumer electronics.

"The new appointments will support our steadily growing business in the Northwest region," said company president Mike Yarbro. "We are pleased to build a team of marine veterans who specialize in providing excellent sales and technical support to our customers before and after the sale."

Bosna will serve as the company's Northwest outside sales manager and has previously held management positions at Port Supply and West Marine, giving her extensive knowledge of dealing with OEM, wholesale and retail customers.  She has also administered sales, training and boat shows.

Holloway will serve as the Northwest inside sales manager, which is a new position for the company. He will be responsible for supporting sales in the Northwest territory and operate from SeaWide's Seattle distribution center. Holloway comes with a wide experience with marine sales, technical support and system design and has earned National Marine Electronics Association certification.

Both will report to Brian Gallagher, the company's Northwest regional site manager.
