Changing Places

Gregory Poole Marine Power, with operations in Beaufort, Wanchese and Wilmington, N.C., recently announced several promotions.

Renee Adams was promoted to marine service manager in Beaufort. Adams has been with the Gregory Poole Marine Power since 2004 and during this time served as a service administrator, warranty analyst, senior warranty analyst, prep shop manager and various other positions.

Nathan Davis was promoted to service manager of the Bradley Creek facility in Wilmington, as well as the service manager for marine engines in Wilmington and Southport. A graduate of Montana State University, he is the former field service master technician in Beaufort and started with the company in 2002.

Jamie MacDonald was named marine engine account manager for southeastern North Carolina. While studying at Virginia Tech, McDonald interned with Hatteras Yachts as a design engineer where he became familiar with Gregory Poole and Caterpillar.  Following graduation in 2004, he became employed with Gregory Poole as the account coordinator for Hatteras Yachts.

Nick McNey was promoted to field service supervisor in Beaufort. He has been with Gregory Poole Marine Division since 2004, starting as a parts warehouser and working his way up to senior parts counterman.

Gregory Poole Marine Power is one of the largest Caterpillar dealers for marine pleasure-craft engines. Gregory Poole Marine Power is a division of Gregory Poole Equipment Company in Raleigh, N.C., the Caterpillar equipment dealer for Eastern North Carolina.
