Aqualuma named Alexandra Bader vice president of sales and marketing.

With extensive knowledge of marine lighting, Bader previously set up the American operations of another underwater lighting company.

"The growth we've experienced throughout 2009 has certainly been an opportunity to add further support to our key dealers here in the U.S.," Aqualuma president Carl Amor said in a statement. "Alexandra's success in the American marine industry is well-documented and, quite frankly, she is very excited to be working with the Aqualuma product range."

Bader will assist in promoting new and existing products, such as the through-hull range, trim tab and docklights, throughout the show circuit. She'll also work with the company's U.S. distributors to expand their customer base and promote products.
