Waterway Guide of Annapolis, Md., is expanding its publication team.

Susan Landry was promoted to the position of editor from her role as special projects associate. Landry brings with her many years of boating experience as well as experience as a freelance writer.

Reesa Kugler was hired as a production artist and has an extensive background in marketing and promotional design of catalogs for marine publications and suppliers.

Trish Sharpe was hired as a new assistant marketing director and will be instrumental in tracking progress of client advertising and arranging for participation in shows and events.

Unified Marine, a wholesale marine supplier of Newport, Tenn., recently announced personnel moves.

Oscar Socarras will be Unified Marine's new national and international sales manager. Socarras will be in charge of continuing and expanding the growth of the U.S. marine distribution and dealer network, as well as improve export distribution of SeaSense and Road Warrior, both Unified brands. Socarras has 24 years experience in the marine industry.

Chris Wingo comes on board as the new national account sales manager. Wingo's responsibilities include managing all independent rep groups that represent SeaSense marine and trailer products across the country and will be involved with activities related to boat and trade shows. Wingo was previously a regional sales representative for Phoenix Trailers and a product sales specialist for MasterCraft Boat Company.

In other news, Unified Marine also hired Krenzien, Krenzien, & Associates of Northbrook, Ill. Krenzien covers 23 states and has years of building relationships with major regional and national retailers, catalogers and distributors, and will be a key player in maximizing the company's opportunities in the marketplace.
