The Marine Retailers Association of America announced that Paul Sexton joined Norman-Spencer affiliate Western Marine Insurance Services as vice president of boat/yacht product development and distribution.

He will be responsible for the development of a new boat/yacht program and national distribution strategy, primarily circulated through marine dealerships.

Sexton brings 15 years of product development and sales experience to his new position. He began his insurance career with American Modern Insurance Group in Cincinnati, where he was responsible for rate, form and underwriting development and distribution of all national recreational marine programs. He was also influential in the development, delivery and growth of the company's commercial marine programs.

"I am thrilled to join this established and well-respected recreational marine insurance operation," Sexton said in a statement. "I look forward to hitting the ground running on the development of national recreational marine products for Norman-Spencer. Implementing unique, comprehensive and user-friendly boat and yacht programs will greatly complement our existing recreational marine programs and services."
