Dave Morel, publisher of Bonnier's Salt Water Sportsman, added another title to his name - publisher of Sport Fishing.

Morel has led Salt Water Sportsman for the last two years. His primary responsibilities will be to create and implement strategic plans, oversee advertising programs and lead the sales team.

"Because of the synergy between the two brands and the collective strength of promoting the brands together, it's natural for one person to lead these two great magazines," Scott Salyers, group publisher of Bonnier's four fishing titles, said in a statement. "Dave's knowledge of the marine industry and the publishing business will help clearly define the brands to our marine partners."

Morel has more than 23 years of marine industry experience. He returned to the world's largest saltwater fishing title two years ago after working for Center Console Angler, where he was one of the founders and served as publisher.

He had been associate publisher of Salt Water Sportsman for more than four years beginning in 1998, and has worked for various marine magazines and marine manufacturers, including Wellcraft Marine and Volvo Penta.
