MarineTech Products named Barret Dickinson national sales manager.

Dickinson will work on a national level to support the MarineTech family brands, including Panther Marine, EZ Steer, Detwiler, Anglers Pal, Navigator and TrollMaster.

A lifetime boater and fisherman, Dickinson has worked on several sides of the marine industry. Most recently, he worked for four years at GSW and Associates Inc. as a manufacturer's sales representative. Prior to that, he worked at Land 'N' Sea Distributing as marketing, purchasing and e-commerce supervisor and at West Marine as general manager.

"We are thrilled to have Barret join the MarineTech team," company president Larry Grundtner said in a statement. "From manufacturing to retail sales, Barret has a full-scope perspective of the industry that will help bring MarineTech to the next level."

Vetus, the Dutch manufacturer and worldwide sales organization of marine diesel engines, named Tim Crumrine to the customer service and technical support team for Vetus and the Maxwell brands in the Americas.

Crumrine's responsibilities will include supporting Vetus and Maxwell distributors, OEMs and end users in regard to technical support of both the Vetus and Maxwell product lines. Crumrine also will assist with sales support and boat show management.

Prior to coming to Vetus/Maxwell, Crumrine was with USA Services, representing life-raft and inflatable-boat manufacturers. He also has held positions at West Marine.

As we continue to grow and expand here in the U.S., the addition of Tim to our team is a great testament to what we're trying to accomplish for our customers and OEMs," said Jay Stockmann, CEO of Maxwell and Vetus America, in a statement.

MarineMax has strong second quarter
