Unified Marine named Dave Thomas its new vice president of sales and marketing.

In his new role, Thomas will be in charge of managing company sales to all forms of industry trade and furthering the growth of the Unified Marine brand.

Thomas is a marine industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience working with internationally recognized brands, including Johnson and Evinrude. His recent background includes serving as the regional director for BRP US Inc. in charge of OEM sales.

He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii.

"We are extremely pleased to have Dave on board," CEO David Nirenberg said in a release. "I have been searching for the right management team to take UMI to the next level of success in the industry. With the recent additions of both Curt Jarson and Dave Thomas, I believe we have the team."
