Changing Places

Northrop and Johnson Yachts announced two new additions to its team as Daniel Ziriakus was named the new marketing director and John Weller joins the sales division.

Ziriakus will oversee marketing across the entire group, including sales, charter, charter management, yacht management and crew services. He previously worked for Fraser Yachts as head of the U.S. marketing department.

He also previously worked in the marketing departments of Estee Lauder Cos. in Munich, and Glaceau, the inventors of Vitaminwater. Ziriakus also spent time at Bridger Conway, a global branding agency based in Miami.

Weller, a lifelong boater, has been awarded the company's top broker award 26 times. One of his most recent accomplishments is the completed construction of a new 240-foot Feadship "Predator" for a previous customer. Also in the works is a line of chaperone boats to escort owners' yachts and carry their equipment.
