Yamaha Marine Group appoints Bill Boehman general manager of Precision Propeller Industries.

Yamaha Marine Group has appointed Bill Boehman as general manager of Precision Propeller Industries, the Indianapolis-based company Yamaha acquired last month.

Effective immediately, Boehman will be responsible for managing PPI’s day-to-day business operations and its 80 employees. He will report to Yamaha Marine Group president Phil Dyskow.

Boehman has broad experience in manufacturing plant management and has spent the better part of his career improving manufacturing efficiency in roles that included plant controller, materials manager and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Boehman has worked in a variety of positions with global component suppliers such as Lear Corp. and Webasto. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in finance and economics. He also holds a master’s degree in manufacturing management.
