Wood's main focus will be seeking potential new customers, developing a professional relationship and maintaining solid business partnerships with them. In the marine market, he will focus on OEMs on the East Coast and the Southeast.

Wood has nine years of sales experience. He spent the last four years at Carpenter Co. in Elkhart, Ind.

"Matt possesses a tremendous 'customer first' philosophy, which dovetails perfectly with ASA's approach to customer development, service and support," said Fred Sherrerd, industry manager for the marine and spa division, in a statement. "He is a strong addition to our national outside sales staff."
