Laborde Products of Covington, La., expands its territory with the addition of a new salesman.

Stan Shelton joins the Laborde team as an outside salesman for the company's marine and industrial products. He will be covering the territory north of Tennessee, where the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers meet.

Returning to the marine engine market after a 10-year absence, Shelton has 18 years service work experience with Detroit Diesel. He also worked with Western Diesel Systems for 22 years.

Laborde Products has provided products to the marine and industrial markets for more than 25 years. As an engine distributor, it represents Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Iveco and Hatz Diesel engines. Laborde also packages its own diesel-powered equipment under Diesel America.
