Dominion Marine Media appointed Dave Leli its Midwest/Western sales manager for the Business Consulting Group, effective immediately.
Leli is responsible for marine and non-endemic sales in the Midwest and Western regions for Dominion Marine Media's Business Consulting Group. The group's mission is to provide boatbuilders, equipment and accessory manufacturers and large dealer groups with custom advertising and lead generation programs. It offers opportunities across any or all of the company's three principal online brands: YachtWorld.com, BoatTrader.com and Boats.com.
"We are excited to have Dave Leli join the Dominion Marine Media team," Business Consulting Group director Wade Luce said in a statement. "His industry knowledge, expertise and contacts will be important components as we expand our sales efforts."
Leli brings 25 years of marine publishing and sales management experience to Dominion. Most recently, he served as associate publisher for O'Meara-Brown Publications' Lakeland Boating and Great Lakes Angler. He previously held sales positions with Bonnier Corp.'s Yachting and MotorBoating. He also served as advertising director for Hachette Filipaccchi Media's Boating Magazine and regional director for Time Inc.'s Time4Media.
Leli has an M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University.

Ferretti S.p.A. named Giancarlo Galeone, group shareholder and director, its new CEO after the sudden death of Salvatore Basile.
Galeone was CEO of the Ferretti Group from 1995 to 2006.

Carolina Skiff hired Ed Johnston as an independent sales representative for Florida, excluding the Panhandle, the company said.
Johnston lives in Florida and brings 28 years of marine retail and wholesale experience to the position.
