Lumitec, a designer and manufacturer of marine LED lighting solutions, appointed Lester Subrattee director of operations of its facility in Delray Beach, Fla.

Subrattee brings 15 years of experience from the marine and aviation field. His areas of expertise include design, manufacturing, quality, reliability, supply chain and customer service.

In his new position he will oversee all related supply chain, manufacturing and quality efforts. He also is tasked with implementing processes across the company that will ensure Lumitec is prepared to meet its growth potential and ever-growing customer demand.

"We recognized immediately that Lester would be a great asset to both Lumitec and our customers," company president and founder John Kujawa said in a statement. "His passion for promoting efficiency and ensuring the highest quality will have immediate impact as we continue to offer unparalleled value to our customers."
