Changing Places

Power & Motoryacht hired Jason Wood as senior editor.

Wood has been executive editor of Yachting for the last two years and was the magazine's managing editor for two years prior to that. He was at Saltwater Sportsman for eight years and rose to managing editor.

"Jason is a real find for PMY," editor-in-chief Richard Thiel said in a statement. "There are only a few people in the marine industry that can match his length and breadth of experience. In addition, he's a real idea guy, too. He is a team collaborator and will be a great asset to our already seasoned team."

Wood also has written for Boston Business Journal and Inc. magazine, and is a graduate of Bowdoin College. An avid fly fisherman and boater, he lives with his family in Darien, Conn.
