Rec Boat Holdings named industry veteran Julie Johnson director of marketing.

Johnson will oversee global marketing and public relations for the three brands of the Rec Boat Holdings group — Glastron, Four Winns and Wellcraft.

Johnson comes to Rec Boat Holdings after serving in marketing, communications and public relations roles during an 18-year career at Bombardier Recreational Products, primarily in its personal watercraft, boats and outboard engine businesses. Before she joined BRP, she worked in marketing positions at Wellcraft Marine.

At Rec Boat Holdings, Johnson will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, communications and public relations initiatives for the three brands.

“We’re very excited to have Julie join our team,” group president Roch Lambert said in a statement. “We have great ambitions to be a leading company in how we go to market with our products, and Julie’s experience and expertise adds another tremendous asset to the organization to reach those goals.”

Johnson also will be responsible for communicating dealer support programs and retail programs, collaborating with new-product development teams and identifying the market potential of the brands.

BassEast named Tom Branch Jr. its director of marketing and future development.

Branch brings more than 15 years of outdoor industry experience to his new position. He previously was a freelance outdoor writer, pro staff manager for Tru Tungsten and a sales associate with Bass Pro Shops.

Sea Tow Foundation appoints new directors

The nonprofit Sea Tow Foundation has announced the return of Gail R. Kulp as executive director. Michael Wesolowski, the former executive director, is now the director of external affairs.
