Port Supply, the wholesale division of West Marine, named Rik Beitel to an outside sales position in Wilmington, N.C.

Beitel is a sales professional with more than 25 years of experience in the outdoor technical and marine industries. An entrepreneur at heart, Beitel founded his own sales agency in the city and for 19 years worked directly for such companies as O'Neill Wetsuits, Burton Snowboards, DaKine Hawaii, Gordon & Smith and Hobie Cat.

He most recently was part owner of the yacht brokerage Total Offshore in Wilmington.
