Dominion Marine Media, the division of Dominion Enterprises that operates, and, announced that Rob Bowman joined its Business Consulting Group.

Bowman will work with OEMs and other key accounts in the Southeast.

“I'm very excited to have Rob Bowman joining the Dominion Marine Media team,” Business Consulting Group director Wade Luce said in a statement. “Rob brings a unique blend of marine retail experience, as well as social media and Internet marketing success, from his tenure with MarineMax.”

Prior to joining Dominion, Bowman managed e-business operations for MarineMax. His responsibilities included strategic planning and implementation of the company’s traditional marketing and e-commerce initiatives.

Airmar Technology Corp., a leading manufacturer of marine transducers and sensor technology, announced that Jennifer Piper is the company’s new marketing manager.

Piper will play an integral role in furthering the company’s vision and strategy, enhancing Airmar marketing initiatives and leading all aspects of the company’s branding. She will oversee marketing activities in each of the company’s marine segments and direct Airmar’s brand message, including advertising, public relations and new collateral development.

Before joining Airmar, Piper was senior manager of marketing programs at Vistagy, where she oversaw numerous marketing programs for the wind, automotive interiors, marine and aerospace industries to support the company’s strategic and financial goals globally. Prior to joining Vistagy, she was an advertising account executive at Matzell, Richard & Watts in Boston.

“Jennifer’s expansive background in marketing solutions and strategic planning will make her a valuable member of our team. Her expertise and demonstrated leadership will help us further develop our customer base and penetrate new markets,” vice president of sales and marketing Jennifer Matsis said in a statement.
