“We’re very pleased to welcome Bob to as sales manager and yacht fuel broker. He brings years of industry experience and concierge customer care expertise,” president and CEO William McKenna said in a statement.

Though new to yacht fuel brokerage, Burke has extensive experience in the marine industry. Prior to joining, he worked for two years at OceanLED in marina product development, promotion and sales. Prior to that, he spent 12 years with Viking Sport Cruisers in a number of roles.

Christine Hartge Wilson is leaving Hartge Insurance Associates for a position as a regional underwriter with ACE’s recreational marine department, Totch Hartge, founder and president of Hartge Insurance and Wilson’s father, announced.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for Christine,” Hartge said in a statement. “We will miss her input and her maritime experience, but will nevertheless move forward with new enthusiasm and energy.”

Elizabeth Bishop was named the agency’s manager in Galesville, Md., he said. The company also has an office in Easton, Md.

Law symposium issues call for speakers

Following the success of the 2017 and 2018 ABYC Marine Law Symposiums on the East Coast, the American Boat and Yacht Council will host next year’s Marine Law Symposium in Seattle on Jan. 8.
