The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals announced that Bill Nelson has joined the company’s brokerage department.

Nelson grew up in Whitefield, N.H., and was introduced to boating at the age of 16 when he started club racing at Mentor Harbor Yachting Club in Ohio. Soon after attending Bowling Green University, he moved to Fort Lauderdale to pursue his career in the yachting industry by starting as a deckhand.

With 35 years of industry experience, Nelson has owned and operated a full-service brokerage, charter and management company for 10 years; and served as a megayacht captain and a project manager on several refits.

The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals specialize in worldwide luxury yacht vacations, charter marketing, yacht brokerage and new construction.
