JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts has hired Mark Biddison, who will join the project management team.

The Florida-based company said Biddison's proven background in customer service and meeting manufacturing expectations, along with design and engineering management, will ensure that its customers continue to receive excellent project management and customer service.

Biddison has 30 years of experience in boatbuilding. Most recently, he was vice president, engineering, at SeaHunter Boats. He previously served as director of design and engineering for Mako Marine.

He has worked in management for Shamrock Marine, Century Boats and Four Winns Boats and has worked closely on non-marine projects in the wind energy, government and aerospace markets.
