FLIR Systems added Andrew Cox to its maritime sales team.

Cox has been employed by the Portland, Ore.-based infrared camera manufacturer for nearly eight years, serving as trade show manager and, most recently, inside sales manager. As maritime sales representative, he will focus on marine end-user and law enforcement sales, as well as reseller support.

“His vast understanding of the inner workings of our maritime products, coupled with his ability to relay the theory and practicality of thermal imaging to our customers and dealers, is proof that Andrew is armed with the knowledge that will help him spearhead the FLIR maritime sales efforts,” said Lou Rota, vice president of maritime sales for FLIR Systems, in a statement.
