MasterCraft president and CEO John Dorton was selected for two appointments with the National Marine Manufacturers Association — the NMMA Executive Committee and chairman of the Boat Manufacturer’s Division.

“John’s recent selection to these leadership roles further substantiates both John’s ability and MasterCraft’s role as an industry leader,” company spokesperson Jason Boertje said in a statement.

Dorton said he is looking forward to “working with the NMMA to help its members achieve financial success, especially as we move through, and the eventual exit out of, this economic downturn.”
