Changing Places

Brad St. Coeur was named the new marina manager at Sunrise Harbor Marina in Fort Lauderdale. Sunrise Harbor is managed by California-based Westrec Marinas.

“Brad has worked a number of years in the South Florida market and is very familiar with the needs of professional megayacht captains,” said Gary Groenewold, vice president of the Southern area for Westrec Marinas, in a statement. “His particular attention to detail will serve our clients well at Sunrise Harbor.”

A former boat captain, Coeur has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He is a Certified Marina Manager and helped a number of marinas obtain Clean Marina/Boatyard designations. Coeur is a member of several industry organizations, including the Association of Marina Industries, where he has served as former chairman of the National Marina Day Committee, and the Marine Industries Association of South Florida. Coeur also is past chairman and is currently on the board of directors of the Florida Clean Marina Partnership.

Leona S. Roach resigned her position as executive director of the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association.

Roach held the position for five years. During her tenure, the association expanded its membership roll and services, including legislative advocacy and educational and professional development opportunities. Overall, Roach has more than 20 years of marine industry experience.

“Her innovative leadership will be missed, leaving a positive lasting impact on the association,” MMTA said in a statement.
