The Coast Guard and Fayetteville State University are launching a student research partnership as part of a diversity initiative.

Designated Atlantic-area Coast Guard members will work with Fayetteville State faculty to identify research topics for participating students, according to the Coast Guard.

They will provide interviews to students with respect to policies, rules and regulations of the Coast Guard related to identifying topics of research and will advise students on disclosure limitations.
