Cook Composites increases prices
Cook Composites and Polymers announced a price increase of 5 cents per pound for all gelcoats and unsaturated polyester and vinylester resins, as well as all cleaner materials.
New pricing is effective for all shipments on or after March 7.
"This price increase will be implemented as a result of continued raw material cost escalation of the chemical feedstock and energy associated with the manufacture of unsaturated polyester-based products as well as other specialty chemicals," the company said in a statement. "CCP regrets this situation but, unfortunately, cannot absorb these continued advances."
